Forpolimer, an exhibitor of Grain Tech Expo, presents a high-quality polyurethane rubber lining for gravity elevator equipment to protect it against quick wearing-out and protect grain against mechanical damages.
Polyurethane rubber lining of grain elevator equipment is a technology for protection of equipment’s working surfaces with polyurethane rubber against wearing-out and a way to decrease expenses on its maintenance.
Our company has developed and implemented various methods of applying a protective layer of polyurethane rubber on working surfaces of equipment:
- polyurethane rubber lining with inserts;
- lining with reinforced polyurethane sheet;
- lining by filling with hot polyurethane;
- lining by hot adhesion.
We have developed polyurethane rubber lining by filling with hot polyurethane in rotary plants.
This method has proven itself very well in the lining of self-flowing pipes of round cross section. With this lining method, the polyurethane layer tightly and reliably covers the entire inner surface of the equipment, metal and polyurethane form a single monolithic system, which is very important to prevent the effect of thermal linear expansion on the metal and polyurethane separately. Such equipment is convenient during transportation, storage and installation, and most importantly, in this case, errors that can occur during the installation of polyurethane inserts in the pipes are prevented.
We also offer hot polyurethane filling for sectors, transition pipes. This method was used for lining of the inner surfaces of bucket elevators, conveyors, as well as for lining of separators.
We recommend the method of hot adhesion of polyurethane when lining the equipment of complex geometrical forms. The customer receives equipment that is completely lined from the inside, all irregularities and sharp corners are securely covered with a layer of polyurethane. And it should be noted that these methods of lining are repairable.
Lastly, we would like to remind once again how polyurethane lining is used at grain elevators:
- It prolongs the terms of use of self-flowing and transporting equipment;
- The amount of damaged grain is reduced;
- Less dust is produced;
- The expenses on maintenance of equipment are cut.
