Today we would like to tell more about an exhibitor of the National exposition of Austria.
Association “Donau Soya” is an independent, international, multifaceted organization based on membership and uniting exhibitors of added value chain. It was founded in 2012 with the aim to facilitate production of plant non-GMO protein of European origin got in sustainable way. The headquarter of the Association is located in Vienna (Austria), regional representative offices are located in Serbia, Ukraine and Moldova. The mission of the organization is shared by over 270 members from 25 countries, 866 certified partners and is supported by governments of 19 European countries. The activity of the Association in Ukraine is financed by Austrian Development Agency, ADA.
The Association “Donau Soya” is the owner of standards Donau Soja and Europe Soya, which guarantee no GMO, traceability, local growing and sustainable production.
Ukrainian office is situated in Kyiv. Association “Donau Soya” makes efforts to contribute in successful work of Ukrainian agro-industrial sector, it is an active participant of work groups and discussions regarding the quality of agricultural products, management of GMO management, favorable conditions for export; it organizes specialized trainings for farmers dedicated to sustainable growing of soya in conditions of climate change, processing and sale, and other events, aimed at popularization of Ukrainian agrarian sector among European companies. It cooperates with agricultural universities, laboratories, prepares monthly reviews of non-GMO soya market in Europe and the world.
