In her welcome speech Kateryna Zvierieva, founder of SAPIENZA.media, consultant at FAO UN, thanked Kyiv International Contract Fair, organizer of AgroSpring 2021, for support and partnership and mentioned that despite winter cold days, the atmosphere at the exhibition is warm and business is actively discussed, which will undoubtedly help all of us develop agricultural system of Ukraine. The following topics were discussed at four-hour conference: innovative biological preparations, ancient traditions of hemp growing in modern agribusiness, about opportunities and importance of drone use in agriculture, about challenges and prospects of agriculture in conditions of European green course, about global and international trends in conditions of COVID-19 etc. Concluding , Olha Trofimtseva, Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine (2019), emphasized that agro-technolgies are developing fast in Ukraine, but their penetration is small. According to her, it is vital to increase awareness of agrarians. The state has to pay attention to it on local and regional levels, as well as at universities. “We have to change our understanding of traditional agriculture, and consider it integrally with environmental protection and economy of Ukraine. Green course of Ukraine should have started already. Agricultural policy across the globe is becoming ecological and economic policy.”
